My sincere condolences to Leisa's family, friends, and co-workers. Leisa was beloved and respected by so many. What a tremendous loss for those of us who were fortunate enough to know her and work with her. She was a source of light, encouragement, perseverance and kindness to many of us, and showed such dedication, incredible work ethic and skill in her work. She was highly regarded here in Austin, and we send her family our love and prayers for peace and comfort.

I am so thankful for Leisaโ€™s friendship and support over the years, not just for work, but anything, as she rarely asked for herself, but offered so much for anyone who came to her. She gave knowledge and time to make the work for the rest of us easier. If I wasnโ€™t sure of a form, or a process, she had the answer or would find it. She had a great sense of humor and a fast wit. Once I knew she had a love of all things Ernie, finding a rare Ernie item she did not have was super rewarding, it made her so happy to add something fun to her collection. I still canโ€™t fathom that she wonโ€™t be at the other end of an email, I wonโ€™t get a text back, or a response to a Teams message, as she was always available. Iโ€™ll miss her IIโ€™s News at work, her ability to get the data needed to support our needs in our Region and that we wonโ€™t get to meet at Casa Mama for lunch. She was creative in her approach to problem solving and determined to make her ideas work, which again, saddens me for what could have been for our Region. Leisa is someone I will miss terribly, and it is true, you really donโ€™t know what youโ€™ve got until it is gone. Iโ€™ll cherish the memories of riding together for all the in-person events, hearing her laugh...and seeing an Ernie will always make me smile. When we meet again, I know she will have all heavenly processes running even more efficiently and Iโ€™d like to think the Rainbow Bridge will be incorporated into any reorg as well, so all the beloved pets will be ready, too. Weโ€™ll have some catching up to do...until then...all my love to Brick and your family Leisa, I miss you my friend.

Leisa you will be my forever friend. From the first time I spoke to you on the phone over 7 years ago when you hired me you had me laughing. That laughter has sustained us through the years. I will forever cherish our brief time on this life journey. It is said that God places people in our lives for a season to be either a blessing or a lesson. You my friend will be my forever blessing and I will hold tight to the many lessons you taught that became blessings. Till we meet again my sister. Love Veronica

Leisa was a very special person to me. She answered my questions and never made me feel bad for asking them. She rejoiced with me over my children's accomplishments- and seemed to always "sparkle" whether it was through email, TEAMs or a phone call. She made the world a much better place.
